Wings of Freedom - FINAL

FINALLY. After about 8 months of dragging, I've completed this piece at 1:17am in the morning! I'm still sober, mind you.

So the key difference between this one and the original is the addition of the main thruster pack, plus the body, arm, head, legs and Xiphias rail gun on its hip. A minor difference you probably haven't noticed is slight darkening of everything including the original wings and Balaena plasma cannon, and minor shading.

Originally, this was going to only be a deviation containing the wings, upper body, arm and head of Freedom. However, I decided, "Meh. I want the practice" and I drew the lower body, too. Drawing the leg was fun.

But the arm was a HOLE. I don't know WHY. ESPECIALLY the shoulder pad. WTH. Took ages to draw, and it STILL looks dodgy. REALLY dodgy. It sticks out like a sore thumb. And it doesn't look any better if you look at it from further away. T___T

But overall, I guess this was a worthwhile experience. If this were Pokemon, I probably levelled up 20 levels, I think. XD I think main point for me to take away from this, is to LEARN TO DRAW PERSPECTIVES WELL. T___T

I wouldn't say I'm proud of this. The arm was a let-down. But one day...>D

TOOLS:
Pacer on paper + Sanity --- 13.25 hours total, over 8 months. For the record, that was more time than it took to build the model itself (10 hours) =="

P.S. Due to the hard work placed into this work, considering I haven't taken up art in a while, I can't let you download this art. I did say I wasn't proud of this. But then again, why would you want crap art when one day, I might deliver better stuff? Might as well save your quota for the holidays. XD
